Southend Construction has been an important part of the development of Borough Limited over the past fifteen years, carrying out essential building and renovation work to a satisfactory standard. In 1998 we moved our operations to a new factory and head office in Progress Road and Southend Construction played a large role in successfully completing the move, thanks in no small part to their highly professional staff. They built and decorated new offices, a reception area and the staff canteen

Southend Construction built a new porch and laid ceramic tiles to my floor, among several other jobs they have done. Paul and Peter are very nice and also very reliable, their work is good value for money and I would definitely call on them again for any other building or decorating work I needed. I have already recommended them to some friends who as far as I know are just as satisfied as I am.

We have had a lot of work carried out by Peter and Paul Robinson, stretching back eight or nine years, first at our previous house in Wickford and more recently in our current home. They are really nice people, down to earth and easy to get on with - Peter is an excellent carpenter. They fitted a completely new staircase in our house, and totally renovated the entire front of the building - it’s over 300 years old and the wooden beams were suffering from a combination of woodworm, dry rot and death-watch beetle. This was a major rebuilding operation and they did a wonderful job. We can’t think of anything negative to say about them, and we have already recommended them to our friends. Their prices are fair and reasonable.

I was very satisfied with the work carried out on my home by Southend Construction. They showed great attention to detail, and they were very pleasant and nice to have around the house. The work included painting the outside of the property, as well as interior decorating, they renovated the kitchen, bathroom, hall and stairs and also built a brick wall and block patio. Southend Construction have completed various types of work on our house for many years, and their work is of a very high quality. They are punctual, the costs are reasonable and any problems we have ever had within our house have always been solved quickly and efficiently. They have carried out many different repairs and installations here, for example painting, decorating, roof repairs, plumbing, tiling, fencing, building a new wall and several other small items. All work has been carried out efficiently in a most obliging and courteous manner and with good humour. We were referred to Peter and Paul Robinson by another company, as we were looking to make a wide variety of structural and design improvements to our house. So far they have totally rebuilt our bathroom, painted and decorated a number of other rooms, laid a hardwood floor to the new living room and dining room, painted most of the exterior of the house and are currently decking a large area of the patio to the rear. We have been completely satisfied with their standard of work, and also we have appreciated their contribution towards the design and layout together with their flexibility to modify any design elements in the middle of a project. They have had a big influence on the overall character of our house which as a result is now beginning to feel like a real home.
